The Joint Preservation and Replacement Program at White Plains Hospital

Joint Replacement

White Plains Hospital's Joint Replacement Program is among the most comprehensive in the region, offering the full complement of surgical and nonsurgical treatment options to help patients with joint pain return to an active, healthy lifestyle as quickly as possible. Our program is certified by The Joint Commission, recognizing the high level of care we provide, and our dedicated Joint Coordinator provides a level of personal care not offered by many institutions.

For those in need of hip surgery, we offer the less invasive and painful "anterior approach" to hip replacement leading to a faster return to normal pain free activities. Learn more here.

For patients needing a knee replacement, the advanced Mako robotic arm is a part of latest technology utilized every day by our surgeons. Learn more here.

Joint Preservation

The White Plains Hospital Joint Preservation Program is an alternative to hip replacement for younger more active patients with certain hip conditions that have not responded to non-operative treatment.  Avoiding a hip replacement in this younger patient population offers many advantages and the surgical techniques utilized are only performed by a small number of highly trained surgeons in the region.
