Employee Recognition
DAISY Award
White Plains Hospital is a proud participant in the DAISY Award program, which recognizes nurses who provide extraordinary compassionate care. Nurses are typically nominated by patients’ families or by patients themselves. We invite those who have experienced or observed such tremendous care to nominate the nurse online.
TULIP Award
We are also pleased to present the TULIP (Technicians Uplifting Lives & Impacting Patients) Award to a deserving staff member for their exceptional dedication and diligence. Patients, residents, visitors, family members, co-workers, physicians and volunteers may submit a nomination online.
Further Recognition of Nurses
Each year during National Nurses Week, we conduct our Nursing Awards Ceremony. A fun and festive affair – one of the Hospital’s yearly highlights – the ceremony brings together our nurses and senior leadership team to celebrate the achievements of our nurses and nursing teams in specific departments as well as to announce scholarship recipients.
In addition, each week we spotlight one of our nurses in our robust #NurseDayThursday social media posts, highlighting everyone from new to veteran caregivers. View some of our recipients.
