In November 2021, White Plains Hospital hit a significant milestone as we added open-heart surgery to our suite of advanced cardiac services. Now, internationally renowned surgeons from Montefiore-Einstein are performing complex procedures, including coronary bypass surgeries and valve repairs and replacements, close to home for our patients. In addition, our Electrophysiology Team led by Drs. Daniel Wang and James Peacock recently completed its first atrial fibrillation ablation. This procedure, performed in our state-of-the art cardiac catherization lab, was previously only offered at large, academic medical centers.
