During his more than 30 year tenure at White Plains Hospital, Robert D. Small, MD was exceptionally passionate about his practice and his patients. As a leader and role model in his field, he had a strong interest in nurturing and educating future clinical leaders. The Robert D. Small, MD Memorial Fund was established to support the training and continuing education of clinical staff in the specialty of orthopedics, including scholarships, opportunities to attend national conferences as well as lectures from leaders in the field. The training opportunities as well as visiting physician lectures promote Dr. Small’s lifelong goals of sharing knowledge, advancing orthopedic medicine and improving patient outcomes. The Robert D. Small, MD Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Wellness Center opened Fall 2020.
