I brought my mom to WPH this past week for surgery. With COVID restrictions in place, I had to say goodbye at the lobby. She was terrified about surgery and being without her family, but I left feeling relieved by the care and concern shown to us by the lobby security guard, the check in desk staff and the nurse who came out to get her for admission. My mother has been cared for every step of the way with the utmost professionalism, kindness and concern. She has had exceptional care from Dr. Kwon and his team, from Nurse Dina in PACU and Hilbert and Manny in ICU. They all took the time to call me or talk to me in person for updates and treated my mom like she was a part of their family. In addition, mom was treated to an awesome foot and leg massage as a holistic healing therapy. She also has truly enjoyed the food and the lovely staff bringing it to her. As an RN myself, I can't say enough good things about the staff and facility. They are truly top notch, and my family is so grateful!
