In February 2018, I was diagnosed with appendicitis and needed to have emergency surgery at White Plains Hospital.

My surgeon, Dr. Charny and his team, the nurses and other staff members made me feel at ease.

I couldn't thank everyone enough for making my hospital stay and surgery recovery a positive experience. I'm grateful for my nurses who took care of me (special thanks to the 5th Floor Pediatrics Unit!) and cheered me up. Also, the food service staff was more than accommodating and made sure I had my chicken soup and rolls, since I couldn't indulge in the other delicious meal options at the time. You guys helped me get through this stressful time and I'm recovering well.
