I want to say thank you to everyone at White Plains Hospital, from the valets who always greeted me with a smile, to the workers in the cafeteria who always told me things would get better. Thank you as well to every doctor, nurse, and tech that filled me in every day on my husband's care, and to the social workers who kept me posted as to what I'd need and what were our next steps would be. My husband and I have been coming to White Plains Hospital for over 30 years and wouldn't go anyplace else.

This last trip to the Hospital was a very long one, but I got to know so many wonderful people. Every Sunday I would bring the floor a treat of bagels for breakfast and made sure to have some for the night staff as well. We developed a bond with the staff on 4F, and when my husband needed to be in the ICU they would stop by to check on him and see if I needed anything.

After almost two months of ups and downs, my husband passed away this Saturday very peacefully. The kindness and compassion we received made a difficult time easier. Thank you, 4F and thank you to the rest of the White Plains Hospital staff.
