Early this evening, I took my son to White Plains Hospital's Emergency Department to be treated for an injury to his nose. My son was visibly upset about having to be in a hospital. A nurse at the front desk, Nicole, went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable. She came over to chat with us when we were sitting in the waiting room and quelled his fear and anxiety. I told her "thank you" several times but wanted you to know that her actions were the main reason we were able to get my son the care he needed with the least amount of stress and anxiety.
