Reshma

I gave birth at WP hospital on Oct 13, 2023 and I look back at this being one of the best days of my life. The staff at WP hospital made the experience very comfortable and pleasant.
I specifically want to call out a few of the staff that I encountered who were truly angels on earth:
The doctor/anesthesiologist who administered my epidural, I can't remember her first name but her last name is Chen, was with me in the operation room during my c-section and she helped calm down my anxiety tremendously. She was there for me in a way that I will never forget during a time of pure panic. I can't say enough things about how incredible she was.
Aileen was one of the night nurses (or maybe a PA?) who was pregnant at the time who went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and that my baby was safe. I can't thank her enough for remaining calm which kept me calm. She was holding my arms as I was going through contractions while getting the epidural. It's apparent that she has a true passion for the nursing field and cares for her patients.
Dr. Sone was absolutely amazing. I am beyond happy that she delivered my child. My c-section scar is beautiful! My normal OB is Dr. Kevin Meacham who was also an incredible doctor throughout my pregnancy and postpartum.
All of the labor post-op nurses, aides, techs between October 12-17 were amazing. I wish I could name them all but I can't remember their names. I do remember: Jillian, Natasha, Asha, Gina, Suzy, Lucky, Alecja, Jean, Sarah.
I could go on and on about Jean. I genuinely looked forward to having her as my night nurse and she answered all my questions and took her time to explain everything to my husband and I whenever we had questions. We would literally scream with joy when we'd see her enter our room. She was professional, extremely personable, hilarious, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her! I can't stress how wonderful she was and I hope she reads this and remembers us!
