I’d like to recognize members of the Weber Wound Care Center for their extraordinary work healing an ulcer on my leg, the result of venous insufficiency. Their care and concern for my needs—week after week—through months of treatment has been just amazing. I must acknowledge the improvement in my condition with the arrival of Dr. Joey Papa, who instituted a new and tougher regimen that made all the difference. Also, I want to acknowledge Gina and Susie, the administrative associates who worked “tirelessly“ to schedule me around a cluster of other medical appointments at the hospital; alacrity would be an understatement!

While I am writing to acknowledge Dr. Papa and her staff, this same accolade can be made for many areas of the hospital where we have met so many caring people. This includes Dr. Nunziato-Ghobashy, our primary, Dr. Zunaira Choudhary, Dr. Preya Ananthakrishnan, Dr. Randy Stevens, and the nurses and other associates who work with each of these fine people. I am not exaggerating when I say that they have all gone above and beyond responding to my questions and addressing my concerns.
