Sheila

I had to have a breast Imagining exam and an ultrasound done prior to breast surgery to remove a cancerous growth. I had a biopsy done a month before at another facility, which diagnosed the cancerous growth, and the injection they gave me was extremely painful. When I realized I had to endure another breast procedure involving a needle I became very anxious and started to hyperventilate. The nurse, Alicia Steele, and ultrasound technician, Kristen Posimato, calmed me down. When Dr. Glass entered the room, they relayed my fears to her. Dr. Glass was very professional and told me I was going to be fine. Ms. Steele actually held my hand during the procedure and it wasn't as painful as I thought it would be.

Honestly, I couldn't have done that procedure without those two compassionate women who supported me. I was very fortunate to have such a caring staff in my time of need. Since it was the beginning of a long journey to becoming well, their encouragement meant a lot to me.
