Stephen
I was admitted into the hospital on the fifth floor back on November 5, 2019. Upon my arrival around 10:00 p.m. I was immediately greeted by my nurse and tech and was attended to until I was made comfortable inmy bed. I was in a lot of pain, which was made more manageable by the nursing staff. The care I received for the next 9 days was above and beyond the call of duty. To name a few nurses that I remember that I would like to thank: Kelly, Carol, Nick, Kate, Liliana, Stephanie and Meg from the IV team. They were the best nurses I have had the pleasure of dealing with in my 49 years of life. Not only were they professional, they showed compassion and treated me like I was family. The environmental services people, the food service people, the transporters and the physical therapists that walked with me countless times around the unit should also be commended for their work. Your nurses worked together as a team and were able to defuse any situation that look like it was might get out of hand. The cleanliness of the rooms the bathrooms and the entire floor that I was on made me feel very comfortable and at home.
I would like to thank every one that was part of my recovery for a job well done. I will always use White Plains hospital for my health care needs and I will pass the word on to my friends and neighbors about your excellent care.
