I am writing this with so much gratitude and deep appreciation for Registered Nurse Kristin Fiore, who made the birth of our son, Mateo, an experience I will forever treasure even more.

Throughout my labor, I struggled with severe anxiety, particularly around the invasive procedures and the process of being induced. It was a time filled with fear, uncertainty, and intense emotions, but Kristin was a shining light during it all.

From the first moment I met her, Kristin was more than just a nurse -- she became my trusted ally, emotional support, and truly a friend. Amid painful contractions, tears, and fear, Kristin held my hand and offered me words of comfort that calmed my anxious heart. She validated every tear, every moment of doubt, and never once made me feel like a burden, even when I rang the nurse call button repeatedly. Every time she entered my room, she brought a sense of calm and reassurance. Her smile, her compassion, and her unshakable belief in my strength pushed me to trust the process, even when I felt at my most vulnerable.

In addition to her presence during the most intense times, Kristin celebrated the small victories with me, the moments when I felt stronger and closer to bringing my baby into the world. Her ability to see the light in everything, even when things were at their toughest, gave me the courage to keep going.

Her impact on my family and me was immeasurable. If it wasn’t for her unwavering support, I honestly don’t know how I would have gotten through the toughest parts of my labor.
