I am not used to being in a hospital but I can tell this place is special. I wanted to acknowledge the good job everyone is doing and just say thank you!

I am a young, 20 year old college graduate with a high stress job in the in NYC. After starting full time I began to notice my stomach was not feeling well, fairly frequently. Under the instruction of my GI doctor I reported to White Plains Hospital for an Endoscopy and Gastric Emptying Study. I mentioned my age to help you understand why my mom would have accompanied me. As you might imagine she was very nervous although this was "routine" stuff. The nurses Macharlie, Janet, & Sue were outstanding! These women are clearly seasoned professionals. They went out of their way to keep us informed, comfortable and without fear. One of the nurses even hugged my mom to ensure her everything would be fine. In fact every single person from the front desk security guard, to the entire staff, plus Lee and Frank in Nuclear Medicine were excellent to us. I am not used to being in a hospital but I can tell this place is special. I wanted to acknowledge the good job everyone is doing and just say thank you!
