PACU Visitation Policy

As soon as your loved one is settled, the PACU nurse will call the Waiting Room and communicate when one family member can see the patient for a short visit. The Post-anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) will allow one visitor at a time to see patients postoperatively, and will continue to provide timely updates on patient’s status and plan of care. Visitation can be suspended at any time at the discretion of the PACU team to ensure patient safety.
