COVID-19 screening and testing

Patients coming to our Emergency Department will be provided with a clinical evaluation, with COVID-19 tests ordered if necessary. For those seeking COVID-19 tests only, we encourage you to visit https://coronavirus.health.ny.gov/covid-19-testing to find your nearest testing site.

Asymptomatic individuals who are interested in being tested may visit our Urgent Care Center at 99 Business Park Drive in Armonk. We are testing asymptomatic patients Monday through Friday, 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Updated visitation policy

Our visitation policy allows two visitors at a time. Visitors are allowed between the hours of 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. daily; ages 12+ (12-17 years old to be accompanied by an adult).

Visitors over 18 years of age must show ID. All visitors must comply to current hospital policy Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.

Visitors must wear a mask in all patient care areas.

Exceptions may apply for parents visiting the NICU; pediatric patients; patients in palliative care; and those with special needs, being discharged or needing a support person.

ID will be required at check-in.

Visitors who do not adhere to the above guidelines will be asked to leave.

In addition, patients coming to our physician offices and for outpatient testing and procedures may have one companion.

PACU Visitation Policy

As soon as your loved one is settled, the PACU nurse will call the Waiting Room and communicate when one family member can see the patient for a short visit. The Post-anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) will allow one visitor at a time to see patients postoperatively, and will continue to provide timely updates on patient’s status and plan of care. Visitation can be suspended at any time at the discretion of the PACU team to ensure patient safety.

Please note the policies for Maternity, Labor & Delivery, and the Neonatology Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Caring for patients and families

The Hospital is always here to offer support to our patients and family caregivers. The Support and Information Connection team has been established as a resource and means of connection in these challenging times. Consisting of members from our Caregiver Support Program, Pastoral Care and Center for Cancer Care, our team is available to provide counseling, spiritual support, relaxation techniques and coping strategies to those in need. We also can address advance directive concerns, provide forms and offer guidance on how to have difficult discussions with those we love.

For those interested in connecting with our team, please call 914.681.2720. Leave a message with your name, contact information, and indicate your specific concern or question. Your call will be returned as soon as possible.
